It was a packed house today at the Boston Museum of Science to see the sneak preview of Forks over Knives. So very thankful I got in! Can we reverse the Diseases of Affluence?
And, of course, it took two hours to find the cable to the camera and I still can't upload the picture for the world to see the autographed page from The Engine 2 Diet by Rip Esselstyn. He was one of the panelists discussing the film. The text reads:

YIPEEEEE!!!!!
Forks and Knives is coming out in May. Hope it's a HUGE COMMERCIAL success and leads to many, many thoughtful discussions and dialogues. Found myself too scared to ask: why do the countries with the highest dairy consumption also have the highest breast/prostate cancer rates? Since I spent most of tonight looking for the camera cable and now (OF COURSE) I can't find the WHO statistical page with age standardized breast/prostate cancer rates by dairy consumption and country origin I have completely given up.
Was thrilled to see the movie used the same quote from Hippocrates that's on the SuperMom101 Show:
Let food be your medicine [and medicine be your food.]
Best health always to you all!
p.s. For dinner I had no meat and it was delicious. Leftover sauted brussel sprouts with garlic, leftover steamed spinich, freshly cooked brown rice with peas and 3 chocolate covered strawberries for dessert. (The strawberries are leftover from our Valentine's Day Dinner with the kids from last night.)
